BRAZIL: Jack Drum Arts will host three Brazilian musicians next month
WORLDCLASS Brazilian musician will deliver a series of workshops and performances in the region next month thanks to funding from the Arts Council.
Jack Drum Arts, based in Crook, County Durham, will host three musicians from the Nação do Maracatu Porto Rico music collective from July 8 to July 26.
During their stay the musicians will rehearse with members of Jack Drum Arts’ Youth Music programme to develop a new County Durham-based Maracatu band.
