CARE home residents can enjoy pamper sessions in their very own beauty parlour.
West Lodge Care Home near Crook, County Durham, has given its hairdressing salon a glamorous makeover to ensure residents feel extra special when they get their hair and nails done. A glass of sparkling wine is also served at Sparkles Beauty Parlour to add to the VIP experience.
Mary Carr, 86, who was one of the first to receive a manicure in the new salon, said: “I think it’s a marvellous idea.”
