FRENCH visitors to a North Yorkshire town were treated to a special reception with their hosts recently.
Northallerton Town Twinning Association took part in an annual social event for residents from Ormesson-Sur-Marne, a Paris suburb which is twinned with North Yorkshire’s county town.
Families from the two communities have been enjoying exchange visits since the areas were first twinned in 1993.
On Saturday, May 27, French visitors and their host families were invited to Northallerton Town Hall by the town council for a social evening, as part of an itinerary of events planned for their cross-channel visitors.
