A MUSEUM will hold a Christmas market with gifts, crafts, local produce, food and entertainment.
The Bowes Museum, in Barnard Castle, will hold the event on Saturday, December 17 and Sunday, December 18, 10am to 4pm.
Admission £2.50, including museum entry a park and ride service from GlaxoSmithKline car park.
Stalls will range from cheese and breads to beer and chocolate; crafts and jewellery to upcycled furniture, wreaths and toys.
Entertainment will include music from No Added Sugar, Barnard Castle Band and the Andreas Ensemble and Icicle Queen stilt walkers.
Santa’s grotto will be open 10am to 12.30pm and 1.30pm to 4pm, admission £5 per child which includes a gift.
Free Christmas craft activities will also take place, children must be accompanied by an adult.
Parking onsite costs extra, except for blue badge holders and there will be no access to the market via the rear gate in Crook Lane.
