MUSEUM visitors could see their own artwork hung in grand surrounding and even land the chance to switch on its Christmas lights.
The Friends of The Bowes Museum at Barnard Castle will run a baubles and bows competition this winter.
Organisers will supply a clear bauble and ribbon to be turned into a masterpiece to decorate the Friends’ Christmas tree in the museum foyer.
One entrant will be invited to switch on the lights on Sunday, November 27, at 2.45pm. Museum entry will be free from 2.30pm that day.
To take part contact the Friends office on 01883-690606, extension 233, or friends@thebowesmuseum.org.uk and materials can be left at The Bowes reception for collection along with instructions and an entry form.
All finished baubles must be returned by November 19.
