A THEATRE group is preparing to stage an adaptation of a cult television show set in occupied France.
Members of Richmond Amateur Dramatic Society (RADS) visited the town's recent French market to gain a flavour of the country's culture ahead of their production of 'Allo 'Allo.
The show, which recounts the adventures of hapless French café owner René and his wife Edith, will be staged at the Georgian Theatre Royal from July 25 to August 4.
John Alcock, a member of RADS, said: "We will say this only once - this is expected to be a very popular production."
Tickets cost between £5 and £11 and are available by ringing 01748-825252, visiting www.digyorkshire.com or calling at the theatre box office
