A VAN burst into flames this morning on Darlington's busy inner ring road.
The drama was caught on camera at 10am near the Halfords store outside the Carver Commercial estate agency as the flames caught hold and engulfed the front of the van.

The driver, from Middlesbrough, stood beside the van watching in disbelief as his vehicle was destroyed by an electrical fire.
He said: "The lights flickered on my dashboard so I pulled over straight away and within minutes fuel started setting alight. It looks like an electrical problem. I've been driving it since 6.30am."
A support vehicle from his company arrived and a technician attempted to put the fire out with a handheld extinguisher.
Minutes later firefighters reached the scene and quickly extinguished the blaze, creating a huge cloud of steam.
Luckily, no one was injured.
