WILDFLOWERS and nature provide the theme for the next in the series of Stockton Borough Council's guided health walks.
The parks and countryside service is organising the walk around the Greenvale local nature reserve on Sunday, June 17, starting from Fairfield Library, at 10 am.
The one-hour walk will look at the plants and wildlife with local charity Wildflower Ark, which collects and plants wildflowers.
The walk, led by the borough's local nature reserve officer and supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund, is for beginners.
Councillor Mary Womphrey, cabinet member for arts, leisure and culture, said: "The borough's local nature reserves have a wealth of plants and wildflowers for people to enjoy."
Booking is not required. For more details, call 01642-676407.
