AN exhibition is being planned to celebrate the Eighties.
Boroughbridge Historical Society is organising the display in conjunction with Boroughbridge High School, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year.
The exhibition will be based on photographs in the community archive and will include a photographic survey of the town from the Eighties and will look at the floods of that time.
There will also be a montage of school photographs showing the building being constructed, the first pupils and memorabilia from that era.
The exhibition is on show in the meeting room of Boroughbridge Library, from 10am to 4.30pm, on June 30, and at the high school, on Saturday, July 7.
Anyone with items they would like to exhibit is asked to contact the historical society on 01423-322988 or 01423-322649.
