PUPILS were treated to a day of ice-skating after a week of exams.
Year six pupils from Belmont Cheveley Park Primary School, who had been sitting their national Sat tests, were taken to Billingham Forum ice rink.
Heather Prested, a teacher at the Durham school, said: "It was great to see the children enjoying themselves after such a busy time of revision and tests.
"All the children started off tentatively, holding onto the sides, but by the end of the day every child was skating with confidence. It was a great day out."
