PUB licensees will take to two wheels for the 21st annual charity bike ride in the Yorkshire Dales.
The event, on June 13, is expected to attract about 240 cyclists, who will ride 17 miles from Hawes to Leyburn, calling at pubs on the way for soft drinks and snacks.
They leave from the Crown Inn, Hawes, at 10.30am and aim to finish at the Golden Lion, in Leyburn, at about 3.30pm.
The annual ride is organised by the North Riding Dales Licensed Victuallers' Association and is co-ordinated by Angus McCarthy, who runs the Fountain Hotel, in Hawes.
"We apologise in advance for any delay and inconvenience that the event might cause on the day." he said.
"To date, the ride has raised £165,714 and, last year alone, the riders raised £17,000. All the money collected via sponsorship is shared out to causes throughout Wensleydale and Swaledale."
