DRIVERS had a lucky escape after a serious collision left a car badly damaged.
The accident happened on the A6108 between Masham and West Tanfield in North Yorkshire on Easter Sunday.
A Volvo and a Volkswagen collided, leaving the front driver’s side of the Volkswagen completely destroyed. Despite the severe damage, amazingly nobody was badly hurt in the smash.
North Yorkshire Police traffic sergeant Paul Cording wrote on twitter: “Incredibly no serious injuries”
The road was closed by police while the vehicles were recovered and investigations took place at the scene.
