JAPANESE duo Gamarjobat bring their comical mime show to the North-East as part of a world tour, on Tuesday, June 12.
The show, Rock and Roll Penguin, features a mix of free-flowing mime, gentle acrobatics and humorous sketches, said to be suitable for all ages.
Gamarjobat, made up of Ketch, meaning Red Mohican, and Hiro-pon, Yellow Mohican, received widespread critical acclaim when they made their debut at the Edinburgh Fringe, in 2004.
They have gone on to pick up a string of awards, and staged sell-out shows worldwide with their distinctive choreographed slapstick style.
