MANUFACTURING company Haani Cables Limited has invested £3.5m in expanding its North-East site.
The company, based on Hartlepool's Toft Farm Industrial Estate, has quadrupled the size of its premises, where it makes around 4,000 different types of electric cables which are distributed to 30 countries worldwide.
Family-run Haani, set up in 1982, now employs more than 135 people and is hailed as being one of Hartlepool's success stories. The new extension will be unveiled tomorrow.
