COUNTRYSIDE wardens in Hartlepool are leading a Seal Watch at the weekend.
It will be held at British Energy's observation hide, overlooking the wildlife haven at the Seal Sands and Tees Estuary, from 10am to noon, on Sunday. There is wheelchair access.
Warden Steve Cooper said: "This is an excellent opportunity for people to see the common and grey seals which frequent these areas and, at this time of year, we could well see some common seal pups.
"There will also be the chance to see lots of other wildlife, including sea birds and ducks."
Book on 01429-853325 before 4pm on Friday. Meet at the Teesmouth Field Centre, in the approach road to Hartlepool Power Station.
