GREEN-FINGERED youngsters turned their attention to spring gardens at an arts and craft session yesterday.
More than a dozen children took part in the activities at Ingleby Barwick Library, where Stockton Borough Council's library service was holding a half-term workshop.
Branch librarian Cath Watkins said the theme of the session was spring, and the youngsters had a great time injecting a little sunshine into what was a very wet day.
"They made mobiles, with flowers and trees hanging from them, and we also made decorative face masks and hats, made from leaves and flowers," she said.
"We had about 14 children here, and they all really enjoyed themselves."
