A MALE driver was taken to hospital today with leg injuries after he was involved in a morning rush-hour accident.
His car was involved in a head-on collision at 8.15am on Bishopton Lane, near Darlington.
Two fire appliances from Darlington were called to the incident, which was near the junction with the A1150 Stockton Road.
A van and car were involved in the accident.
The other driver had to be cut from his car and was taken by ambulance to Darlington Memorial Hospital with suspected pelvis and leg injuries.
