A CHARITY devoted to taking art to some of the most isolated parts of North Yorkshire has been given a financial boost.
The former chairwoman of Hambleton District Council, Councillor Susan Latter, has handed over a cheque for more than £500 to Thirsk-based Rural Arts North Yorkshire.
She raised the money during her year in office through raffles, and donations at civic functions.
