MUSIC lovers will be able to take a trip down memory lane with a show dedicated to wartime songs and classics.

We'll Meet Again comes to Hartlepool Town Hall Theatre next Tuesday, at 2pm.

The show features a blend of popular Second World War songs, as well as classics from shows such as Me And My Girl and tunes made famous by stars such as Gracie Fields, Glenn Miller and Flanagan and Allen.

The British Stage Productions show is headed by Dave Peters, who is well known for his many appearances at the City Varieties Music Hall, in Leeds. The supporting company includes Kenny Richards, Lisa McKellen, Ian Ganderton and Dawn Farrell.

Lesley Todd, of Hartlepool Borough Council's arts, museums and events service, said: "With live music, plenty of singing and dancing and lots of songs to join in with, this show is a wonderful trip down memory lane for anyone with fond memories of the Fabulous Forties."
