A BUILDING firm thanked residents at a sheltered housing scheme for their patience with a party.
Rok organised an evening of entertainment for tenants and staff at Chapel Court, in Billingham, following the completion of a refurbishment.
They were treated to a performance by singer and comedian Freddy Waters, who sang songs from the Fifties and Sixties.
Steve Allen, from Rok Tees Valley, said: "The tenants have been fantastic while we have been working at Chapel Court.
"To mark the completion of the work, we decided to bring in an entertainer and have a bit of fun."
He added: "It is important to build relationships with the local community where we are working, in order to give the best possible service with the minimum of fuss."
Janet Brennan, scheme manager at Chapel Court, said: "Staff and tenants really enjoyed the evening's entertainment. It was a great opportunity for tenants to get together, and for us all to celebrate the completion of the refurbishment work which has updated and improved facilities.
"The Rok staff who worked on the refurbishment of the kitchens showed great empathy and understood the upheaval to our tenants, which made the refurbishment go more smoothly."
