RESIDENTS are to have their say on two housing schemes planned for Teesside.
Erimus Housing, Middlesbrough's largest social landlord, is working on proposals for Newport, in Middlesbrough, and Langdale Road, in Billingham.
The company is inviting people to have a look at the initial plans and give their views.
Director of regeneration Chris Smith said: "We feel it is really important to work with residents in helping regenerate an area.
"This is an early stage in the consultation process, and it is both important and helpful to get residents' views. We hope as many people turn up to look at the plans as possible."
A mix of family houses and flats are planned for Newport, with the earmarked sites at Milton Court, Mallory Close and Gower Close.
The plans will be displayed in the Newport Neighbourhood Centre from Monday, June 18, to Friday, June 22.
The centre will be open from 8.30am to 4pm, and staff from the design team will answer any questions on Wednesday, June 20, from noon to 7pm.
Erimus Housing also plans to replace the outdated Eden House sheltered scheme, in Langdale Road, Billingham.
Proposals centre on building sheltered accommodation, following a vote earlier this year for the transfer of the schemes to Erimus Housing ownership, from Stockton Borough Council.
The proposals will be displayed in Bedale Avenue Library from June 18 to June 22.
The library is open from 10am to 7pm weekdays apart from Wednesdays, when it opens from 10am to 12.30pm. The design team will be on hand to answer questions on June 21, from noon to 7pm.
