A MAN appeared in court yesterday on drug charges.
Brian Kidd, 44, of West Terrace, Billy Row, near Crook, faces 12 charges relating to possession and supply of ecstasy, amphetamine and cannabis.
On November 3 last year, he is accused of selling 5.11g of amphetamine and 10.5g of cannabis resin.
He is also charged with possession of 111 ecstacy tablets, 45.6g of cannabis resin, 14.1g of amphetamine, and intent to supply each.
It is also alleged that on February 1, in Roddymoor, he was in possession of 35 ecstasy tablets and 23g of amphetamine and intent to supply each.
Magistrates, sitting at Newton Aycliffe yesterday, committed the case to Durham Crown Court on July 2. No pleas were entered and Mr Kidd was granted bail.
