Redcar and Cleveland Council's countryside team has organised a seashells event on Tuesday, from 10am to noon, and 1pm to 3pm.
People can collect shells from the beach during the morning, and make a creature out of them at a craft session in the afternoon. Admission is £1 for the craft session. FLOWER FESTIVAL: Zetland Park Methodist Church, Redcar, is holding a flower festival next weekend. Admission is 50p. It will be open from 10am to 4pm on Saturday, and 2pm to 4pm on Sunday.
CLASSICAL SHOW: Guitarist Emanuele Segre will perform at Sir William Turner's Almshouses, Kirkleatham, near Redcar, at 7.30pm on Friday, June 15. Tickets are £10, available on 01287-622858.
HEALTH TALK: Dr Lois Whittall will give a talk on Psychological Aspects of Diabetes, to the Diabetes UK South Cleveland Group, at 7pm on Tuesday, June 5, in the Education Centre, James Cook University Hospital, Middlesbrough.
CUPPA TIME: A coffee morning will be held from 10am to noon today, at Guisborough Methodist Church, in aid of the South African Animal Protection and Environmental Sanctuary. Admission is free.
MILL DEMO: The restored Tocketts Mill, Guisborough, is open this bank holiday for milling demonstrations, from 2pm to 4pm, tomorrow and Monday. Admission is £1.50, £1 or pensioners, 25p for children.
