SUNDAY'S penultimate round of the Shimano Quakers Teams of Four on Woodlands Partridge and Skylark Lakes ended with a first ever maximum score of 20 points as Shimano Quaker A delivered four section winners.
The Star man was Dave Cooper with a colossal 177.0.0 winning bag from Skylark 16. The huge haul of 50 carp came down the side at just 3 metres catching specimens up to 8.0.0 on the meat over loose feed meat and hemp. Runner up on the day was Barry Smith of Tees Lads pegged almost opposite on peg 20, carp fell to the pole at 6 metres with corn to finish with 162.11.0.

League leaders to date Shimano Quaker A and Daiwa Cleveland Angling Centres are tying on 47 points, from Shimano Quaker B 45 points and Newman Scott B 43 points.
Best weight from Sessay's Oaks Fishery last week came during Saturdays open on Cedar Lake when local Gareth Drury hammered out 121.6.0. Drawn on peg 36 it was all small carp up to 3.0.0 catching across at 12 metres with maggot up in the water. Venue expert Mark Calvert followed with 105.5.0. The Garbolino Elton angler sat on peg 27 and tempted his carp bag from the far side with chopped worm.

Moor Monkton's Carpvale Fishery also produced a ton up bag for the winner as Harrogate's John Brain put together 102.1.0 to finish comfortably ahead of the field. Drawn on Cyprio's peg 9 John opted for the bomb with popped up bread on the surface and just below at times casting to the island shade carp to 8.0.0 obliged. Not so comfortably in second place was Bob Co's Graham Broadley who pole fished cat meat from peg 13 for 82.2.0 with team-mate Peter Neill opting for the pellet finishing just 0.2.0 short with 82.0.0.
