A TEENAGER with her sights on a music career, has received a taste of what the future may hold.
Sarah Bowe, a sixth form student at Yarm School, Yarm, found herself singing solo soprano, backed by a choir of more than 100 and the school orchestra for an audience of 250.
Sarah, 17, performed at the school's concert celebrating the 150th anniversary of the birth of composer Sir Edward Elgar.
Sarah, who lives in Northallerton, North Yorkshire, is also learning to play the violin.
She said: "It was amazing to sing to so many people."
