A DAY nursery at Bedale is expanding to cope with demand.
Incy Wincy's is moving from rented premises in North End after buying the nearby Amen House, where an opening ceremony will be performed by Jonathan Ropner, at 2pm on June 3.
The new base means that Incy Wincy's, which opened in 2003 and has 67 families on its books, will become a 58-place day nursery.
It is run by nurse Chris Warriner and her daughter, Katie Hockey, an early years teacher, who said: "We have been nearly full from our very first year.
"We have been looking to expand and our new location is great because we can still take children out into the nearby park."
The expanded nursery will incorporate a new out- of-school club called The Web, enabling it to take children before and after school and during holidays.
Incy Wincy's has won a highly effective setting award from North Yorkshire County Council and received an outstanding education grade from Ofsted.
