THE neighbouring villages of Patrick Brompton and Newton-le-Willows, near Bedale, are preparing for a three-day spring festival.
The Dales Folk Group will entertain next Friday, at 7.30pm, in St Patrick's Church, Patrick Brompton. The entry fee of £3 includes refreshments.
On Saturday, June 2, Eric Meynell will entertain with popular music on the organ at 7.30pm. The £6.50 entry includes wine and nibbles.
On Sunday, June 3, there will be open gardens, in Patrick Brompton and Newton-le-Willows, from 2pm to 5pm. Home-made teas will be served in the old schoolroom at Patrick Brompton, from 2pm to 6pm.
There will be guided tours of the church on the Saturday at 2pm and Sunday at 2pm and 4pm, after a morning united service.
