people will be challenged to help tackle climate change, at a roadshow in Northallerton.
They will be asked to work out their carbon footprints - and then see how they can reduce them, at the event being organised by the town's Climate Change Action Group.
There will be free energy saving light bulbs; displays on growing vegetables and buying locally, and children's activities.
Roadshow visitors will also be able to enter a free draw to win a wind-up, solar-powered radio and try out fair trade refreshments.
A free cup of tea or coffee is on offer to anyone who can pedal a specially-adapted bike hard enough to boil the water.
The roadshow is on Saturday next week at Northallerton Town Hall, from 2pm to 4.20pm.
The Climate Change Action Group is made up of individuals from local churches, North Yorkshire County Council, Climate Concern and Hambleton District Council.
