TIMETABLES of a number of bus services are to be changed from Sunday, passengers are being warned.

Services are being changed on four Go North East routes following discussions with passengers and Nexus, which operates services in Tyne and Wear.

There will be minor alterations to the X20 Sunderland to Durham City service, with changes to the departure times of early morning weekday services from the Arnison Centre, at Pity Me, including the 7.29am service, the 7.59am service and the 8.29am service.

There will also be a number of changes on the X35 Sunderland to Hartlepool route, with services before 9.30am affected.

The 35 route from South Hetton to South Shields will also undergo a number of changes, with some services before 9am on weekdays to be run by Classic Coaches.

Finally, the route of the 154 Seaham to Durham service will be changed to run via Barnes Road and Toft Crescent, in Seaham, rather than the existing route of Webb Avenue and Burnip Road.

Full details of the changes are available on www.simplygo.com or from Go North East's customer services on 0845-60-60-260.

Martin Harris, commercial director at Go North East, said: "In the majority of cases, the changes will bring improved services for most bus users."
