THE secrets of life in Tudor times will be revealed at a talk later this month.
Dr Sarah Price, of Durham University Library, will present a talk on Tudor Lives, at the Clayport Library in Durham City on Thursday next week.
The talk, which begins at 10am, is part of a series of events organised by the library to celebrate Local and Community History Month.
In another event, children will be able to choose their favourite buildings, art and natural features for a collage map of Durham City on Saturday, at 2pm.
The free craft session, with Frances Griss, will help them to create a map of the city using photographs, leaflets and other printed material.
For those who want to discover Durham on foot, local historian David Butler will lead an exploration of the city's history on Sunday. The two-hour easy walk starts from Clayport Library at 2pm.
