A SCHOOL is in the pink with its coat of daffodil yellow paint.
Kader Primary School, in Acklam, Middlesbrough, has been painted by young people training in construction skills at Middlesbrough College.
Lynne Chalk, headteacher at Kader primary, said: "We are very pleased that we can support the students at Middlesbrough College in their studies. The work they have undertaken has been of a high standard and has made a big improvement to the school."
Over four days, the students sanded down work surfaces and filled cracks in the plaster, before painting the school's cloakrooms and corridors.
The youngsters are studying for an introductory certificate in basic construction skills.
College tutor Eddie Hall said: "The project was a great opportunity for the students to improve their skills and gain a better understanding of how to run a business.
"They worked very hard and I am proud of the skill and dedication they have demonstrated."
