A TALENTED teenage cricketer has stumped her opponents with some first-class bowling.
Rochelle Petty took four wickets for 40 runs in five overs for the Thirsk Seconds team, North Yorkshire.
The 18-year-old, of St Mary's Walk, in Thirsk, is the only woman cricketer in division five of the York Senior League.
She notched her tally in a league game against Osbaldwick Seconds, which Thirsk won by 51 runs.
She said: "I was just very pleased with myself.
"I normally get one or two wickets each week, but I've never had four before and it was good.
"I was just having a good spell really. I just seemed to get one out in every over."
Damaged ankle ligaments put an end to her run of claiming wickets in the recent league match.
The youngster also plays cricket for the North of England team and for Yorkshire Women.
