CHILDREN are taking to stage to share the spirit of Christmas in their school’s festive play.
Escomb Primary School will be putting on The Hoity Toity Angel, which is based on a traditional nativity and will feature all 203 of the school’s pupils.
Head teacher Wendy Gill said: “I’m really proud of all the children. The singing is superb, the children with lines are doing a great job and they’re all fantastic.”
The lead role of the hoity toity angel is played by 11-year-old Neve Wilkinson.
It was due to be performed for parents at the Central Methodist Church today [Friday, December 11] at 1.15pm.
