THE Yorkshire Federation of Young Farmers' Clubs has appointed a new chairman and vice-chairmen for the forthcoming year.
Peter Gratton, from Nidderdale Young Farmers' Club (YFC), is a previous vice-chairman of the federation. The 28-year-old started at club level at the age of 12 and is a highly-regarded stock judge.
He became one of the youngest ever members of the Nidderdale Show Society and was recently shortlisted in the young achiever of the year category at the Yorkshire Rural Awards.
Andrew Wilson, 30, from Amotherby YFC, and Peter Garbutt, 25, from Great Smeaton YFC, have been appointed as vice-chairmen.
