DETECTIVES are appealing for an 18-year-old man to give himself up after a young father was stabbed to death outside his home.
Kevin Johnson, 22, was stabbed in the early hours of yesterday as he argued with a group of youths outside his home in Partick Road, Sunderland.
Two teenagers - aged 16 and 17 - were arrested on Saturday on suspicion of murder and remain in police custody.
But the officer leading the murder inquiry today said one unnamed 18-year-old is still on the run.
Det Chief Insp Roger Ford appealed for the teenager to give himself up.
Mr Ford said: "I want to appeal to this man to hand himself in to his nearest police station.
"His family and friends know he is wanted and I would urge them to encourage him to give himself up or tell us where he is."
