MYSTERIOUS faces and lavish costumes will take centre stage during a charity summer ball.
The Midsummer Masquerade has been organised by Teesside Hospice, in memory of Christine Chamberlain, who died of breast cancer last year.
Ms Chamberlain was a nurse on the renal unit at The James Cook University Hospital, in Middlesbrough.
Her niece and sister, Claire and Julie Small, organised the event, which will be held at Lowfields Farm, a renovated barn in Seamer, near Ingleby Barwick, on Saturday, June 9, from 7pm.
The dress code for the evening is black tie, with masks optional.
Julie Small said: "Christine was such a special person, who was dearly loved.
"We wanted to arrange a special night in her memory for family and friends, and also to say thank you to Teesside Hospice.
"Teesside Hospice is an oasis of peace at a time of such need, which was much appreciated. The care Christine received was excellent. Also the bereavement service the hospice provided for the family has been so important."
During the evening, there will be a raffle and tombola.
All the money raised will be donated to Teesside Hospice.
Tickets are priced £25 from 01642-355865.
