A TRAVELLING storyteller will have a more comfortable job thanks to an old-fashioned chair bought for her.
Rhoda Fraser is well known in the Richmond area for leading ghost walks and taking part in operatic and drama productions.
She is about to start travelling round the Yorkshire Dales during the holiday season telling stories.
The project, Stories from the Park, run with the Arts Council of England, has already received bookings in Reeth, Hawes, Richmond and at Kiplin Hall, near Scorton.
Mrs Fraser, from Brompton on Swale, will open the season at the Richmond Meet gala on Sunday, May 27. She will be in costume and will sit in an old fashioned "storyteller's chair", which Meet president Lyn Glover presented to her.
