County Super League
Crook Town B produced their best performance of the season when they entertained Horden and won by four points. However the spectacular first half performance should have produced a better end result.

Paul Hickman gave Horden a good start to the second half but then David Stephenson, Cliffy Owens and David Craggs all added their second point for Crook. Horden managed to keep the defeat respectable when Brian Lee, Greg Catleugh and Keith Norman took the last three frames.
Despite being forced into a fighting finish to force a draw at Bishop Auckland, Horden were able to move to the top of the table. The Bishops took the first half by the odd point when they had wins from Paul Armstrong, Andrew Tennant, Mal Parry and Michael Hoggart with Kevin Rainbow, Adrian Kavanagh and David Castledene replying.
Dave Harrop pulled Consett level in the first game of the second half but things looked bright for the home side as they went one short of victory with wins from Kevin Stewart, Paul Armstrong and Andrew Tennant. However Consett fought a rear guard action to level with wins from Kevin Rainbow, Adrian Kavangh and David Castledene.
