A GIRL fighting cancer has met her pop idols.
Brave six-year-old Jessica Harrison from New Marske, east Cleveland, was given a front row seat at the group's concert at the Metro Radio Arena, Newcastle this week - and a chance to meet the stars.
Jessica, who has cancer of the kidney, handed each of the five singers a home-made greetings card.
Singer Cheryl Cole was so overcome she gave Jessica a big kiss and a cuddle.
The tickets and backstage visit were arranged by the TFM charity appeal Make a Child Smile.
Heather Bundzenieks, from the charity, said: "It was a privilege to be able to help Jessica. She is constantly smiling through her illness and does not seem to let anything get her down. I was glad I was able to make this memorable occasion happen."
