TWO brothers accused of threatening to kill a professional boxer have had their case adjourned for another two weeks.
Graham Michael Boyle, 31, and David Anthony Boyle, 29, were due to appear at Newton Aycliffe Magistrates' Court yesterday, but the case was adjourned to May 30.
Graham Boyle, of Eldon Street, Darlington, is charged with making threats to kill Francis Jones.
He is also alleged to have caused criminal harassment to boxer Mr Jones.
The alleged harassment includes making phone calls and sending text messages, daubing offensive graffiti, throwing a milk bottle while Mr Jones was driving his car, an arson attack and criminal damage.
He is also accused of affray against doorman David Ovens.
David Boyle, of Lansdowne Street, Darlington, is also charged with threatening to kill Mr Jones.
Both are also charged with possession of an offensive weapon and intimidating a witness.
Neither have yet entered pleas
