PEOPLE with learning and physical disabilities enjoyed a day out on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway thanks to their local Rotary Club.
Sixty members and support workers from The Wilf Ward Family Trust went on the trip, which was organised by the Pickering branch of the club.
John Fields, chairman of the club's community services committee, said: "This is the first time we have done this and it has been a great experience seeing so many local people enjoying the fruits of the local fundraising that we do."
The trust is based in Pickering and offers services for people who have learning and physical disabilities.
Chief executive Richard Pick said: "This was a generous offer by the Rotary Club and one that was gratefully taken up.
"We are very appreciative for what they have done and, on behalf of everyone who had a thoroughly great day out, I would like to thank the Rotary Club and their supporters for their fantastic gesture."
