ELECTION THANKS
I WOULD like to express my gratitude to those residents of the Escomb Ward who gave me so much moral and vocal support during my campaign leading up to the Wear Valley District Council elections.
I would also like to thank them for their votes and state my frustration at coming so near yet so far. I was proud to stand in the ward for the Conservative party and intend to do so in the future.
Hopefully, we can build on this achievement and go on to make the improvements we need.
I would finally like to congratulate and commiserate with my fellow candidates on their results respectively. - Peter Laws, Conservative candidate, Escomb Ward, Wear Valley District Council, Bishop Auckland, Co Durham.
SUPPORT
LIBERAL Democrats recently elected to serve on Wear Valley District Council for the next term would like to express their thanks to the electorate who supported them at the local elections on May 3 and also other candidates and non-candidates who worked hard for success in the election campaign. - Vince Perkins, For Wear Valley Liberal Democrats, Bishop Auckland.
