AN art club celebrated its 20th anniversary with an exhibition at the weekend.
Members of Houghton Art Club displayed examples of their work at the Welfare Hall, which is part of Houghton Sports Complex.
The show took place on Saturday and was followed by a party with more than 100 people.
Club chairman Tony Lynn said: "We do all sorts of art work, and our members do everything from watercolours to oils and pencils to pastels.
"We have got some very good artists. The celebrations went really well and everyone had a great time."
The club meets at the Welfare Hall every Thursday from 7pm to 9pm.
