MORE than 20 churches and community groups will take part in a flower festival to be held in New Brancepeth Methodist Church next weekend.
The festival, which is being held to mark several anniversaries, including the 300th year after the birth of Charles Wesley, and 200 years of Primitive Methodism, will run from Friday to Sunday, May 20.
Viewing times from are 9.30am to 8pm on Friday and Saturday, and from 11am to 3.30pm, on Sunday.
Admission is £2, and refreshments will be available at a small charge.
The festival will be followed by a service led by Eric Watchman, of Durham City.
