EUROPE'S largest equestrian touring company is to bring its show to County Durham for the first time.
The Chimera production, featuring 30 horses, will be staged at Dalton Park, near Seaham, from Friday, June 1, to Sunday, June 3.
The presentation will be performed in a 2,000-seat temporary theatre, and will feature the Spirit of the Horse - Chimera.
The event is billed as an "equestrian fantasy, blending dance, drama, comedy and outstanding horsemanship'', suitable for all ages.
The company promises an action-packed evening, with daredevil horsemen from Mongolia - the Eshimbekovy stunt riders - classic Andalusian stallions from Valencia, an Arabian stallions minuet and the Return of Pegasus, the Winged Horse.
Tickets are priced at £16, £26 and £33, with concessions at £12, £18 and £25. Family tickets for two adults and two children are £32.
