YOUNG people looking at taking their first step on the employment ladder will be able to find lots of helping hands at a careers convention.
Employers and talent spotters will be looking to recruit enthusiastic workers at the Skill Up Tees Valley event, to be held at the Riverside Stadium in Middlesbrough.
The interactive event was launched yesterday, to tempt employers to become involved in the programme.
Event organiser Jo Anna Robinson said: "It will be an innovative, lively event, full of competitions, goodie bags and lots of exciting incentives for young adults."
Construction, retail, engineering, digital media, health and social care, road haulage, hospitality, early years' care and process industries are the key sectors offering interactive exhibits at the three-day event, which will run from Tuesday, July 17, to Thursday, July 19, between 4pm and 7.30pm.
