A 16-YEAR-OLD boy was taken to hospital and three teenagers arrested following a gang fight in a South-West Durham town.
Police said two groups of rival 16 to 19-year-old boys were fighting in Spennymoor, on Monday, at about 5pm.
The fighting, involving makeshift weapons including a table leg and fencing, started on Victoria Street before moving on to nearby Ivy Close.
The injured boy was treated in Bishop Auckland General Hospital for head wounds.
Three local youths have been questioned by police but have been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
