HUNDREDS of cyclists will meet for a bike ride and service of remembrance on Sunday.
More than 300 cyclists from across Yorkshire and Teesside will descend on the village of Coxwold, near Thirsk, for the 81st annual service of remembrance at St Michael's Church.
The small 14th Century church will be filled with cyclists who will act as bell ringers, sidesmen, collectors, lesson readers, choristers and organists. Residents and visitors are also welcome.
The service will be led by the Reverend Ian Kitchen and the preacher will be Heather Tisbury.
Rides to the service will be organised by Cyclists Touring Club members from York, Malton, Hull, Middlesborough and Leeds.
Refreshments will be on sale in the village hall from noon and after the service, which begins at 1.30pm.
