YOUNGSTERS in the North-East have been taking their favourite teds to a visitor attraction to take part in family fun activities.
Bring a Teddy Day is being held today (Monday August 31) at Crook Hall and Gardens in Durham City.
Visitors can bring their bear to join in all of the teddy themed fun and celebrate their furry friends with one of the nation’s much loved bears, Rupert the Bear.
Lots of activities are taking place for all of the family, from treasure hunts, games, stories and the chance to wander through the beautiful gardens with Rupert.
Along with the usual cream teas, there is also a Teddy Bear themed menu.
Maggie Bell, owner of Crook Hall and Gardens, said: “Bring a Teddy Day is one of the sweetest times at the hall and gardens, seeing all of the children coming along with their teddy friends who are all shapes and sizes but so loved and cherished.
“It is a lovely time for all of the family to come together and enjoy a family day out and meet one of the classic teddy bears Rupert the Bear.”
