A DALES boutique hotel and restaurant has launched a competition for guests to design one of its new themed bedrooms.
The Wensleydale Heifer, in West Witton, near Leyburn, is well known for its various themed rooms, with designs inspired by James Bond, chocolate, whiskey and champagne.
The hotel now wants to give its Wensleydale Suite a complete make-over, all to be designed by one creative individual.
Ready to change the room theme from its name to interiors and props, the hotel and restaurant is offering everyone from interior designers, design colleges, art schools or anyone with a creative flair with the opportunity to transform the Wensleydale Suite at the Heifer.
David Moss, owner of The Wensleydale Heifer, said: “Our themed suites are extremely popular with our guests, especially our champagne and James Bond rooms.
“The brief is completely open to however they see fit, our only conditions are that you don’t use a theme we already have at the Heifer and you always keep in mind that it has to be a room that our guests would want to stay in.”
Staff and guests will judge the entrants, and the winner will receive a meal and overnight stay in the new themed room.
To submit your design entry post it to The Wensleydale Heifer Boutique Hotel & Restaurant, West Witton, North Yorkshire, DL8 4LS or email info@wensleydaleheifer.co.uk. All entrants must be in by August 31. For further information about the competition email rowena.lee@rowenaleepr.co.uk.
